Thanksgiving is just around the corner (can you believe it?!), and is the perfect time to celebrate nature's beauty - and your hosting prowess!
As luxury floral designers, the team here at Fresh Flower Bar loves creating custom arrangements that capture the essence of the season with rich, autumnal colors, seasonal blooms, and natural textures to create unforgettable designs for your holiday gatherings.
If you're looking to add something extra special to your table this year, we've created our Thanksgiving collection with creative color palettes and ideas that will not only complement your other décor, but also bring the spirit of fall into your home.
This year, we have three unique styles of arrangements (including 2 new offerings!) available in two color palettes, so whether you're hosting an elaborate dinner party or an intimate luncheon, we have a floral centerpiece perfect for your needs.
Thanksgiving Centerpiece Ideas
1. Classic Arrangement
The Fresh Flower Bar arrangements you know and love, designed in our signature white glass cylinder vase.
This year, we're offering arrangements in our 6-inch vase, which results in a design roughly 14" by 14" in size. This versatile arrangement is perfect for any area of your home, whether it's at the heart of your dining table or resting on your kitchen counter, and even makes a thoughtful hostess gift!
We're offering all of our Thanksgiving Collection in two stunning color palettes to suit different tastes:
- The Manhattan: For a rich, moody twist on traditional Thanksgiving colors, The Manhattan palette features deep hues of burgundy and plum, accented with creamy ivory and fresh greens. This sophisticated blend adds a touch of drama to your holiday table, perfect for modern or contemporary settings.
- The Old Fashioned: If you prefer a more classic autumn feel, The Old Fashioned palette brings together muted tones of golden mustard, warm rust, cinnamon, and ivory. This timeless color combination evokes the warmth and nostalgia of fall harvests, making it ideal for those seeking a traditional Thanksgiving look.
Whether you choose The Manhattan or The Old Fashioned color palette, our classic, cylinder vase arrangement will effortlessly elevate your table.
2. The Footed Vase Arrangement

For a more elevated look, we're offering both The Manhattan and The Old Fashioned palettes in a neutral-colored, ceramic, footed vase, available in two sizes. Like our Classic Arrangement, this composition is lush and brimming with the seasons best blooms, but has an added sense of luxury and refinement. This style works beautifully on round dining tables, kitchen islands, or buffet tables.
In The Manhattan palette, the deep, rich colors create a luxurious, bold statement that's perfect for a modern Thanksgiving dinner. Pair this arrangement with an abundance of candlelight (we're loving colored taper candles this season - check out these rich olive colored tapers from Pottery Barn, or these "Sandstone" colored tapers from Amazon. We used "Sandstone" when photographing this arrangement, and they coordinated perfectly!)
Alternatively, The Old Fashioned palette brings a more rustic elegance, with its muted autumn tones creating a cozy yet refined atmosphere for gathering and gratitude. Create a layered and textural table-scape to pair with this arrangement using striped linen placemats and these golden mustard napkins.
Wondering which size arrangement would best suit your needs? Here's what we'd recommend:
The "Like" Size arrangement - roughly 16"-18" in diameter
- Best suited for tables seating 4-6 people, or tables with a diameter up to 60"
- Great for console tables or coffee tables
The "Love" Size arrangement - roughly 24" in diameter
- Best suited for tables seating 8-10 people, or tables with a diameter up to 72"
- Great for a statement piece on a kitchen island or foyer table
3. The Table Meadow
Pictured: The Old Fashioned Table Meadow - "Like" Size
For those with a longer rectangle or oval shaped dining table, or the desire for a stunning, low-profile centerpiece, the Table Meadow is an exciting new offering! This elegant arrangement is composed in a sleek, long, gold metal tray, sourced from Terrain. This vessel is modern, yet timeless, and can be re-used for other home decor after the Thanksgiving holiday has passed!
The Table Meadow is lush and abundant, covering nearly all of its vessel, for a natural, meadow-like effect on the table. These style centerpieces have been increasingly popular with our wedding couples in 2024, so we wanted to provide this as a modern offering for the holiday season!
Like our other arrangements, the Table Meadow is available in The Manhattan and The Old Fashioned palettes. The Manhattan palette creates a dramatic, sophisticated contrast with the gold tray, whereas the Old Fashioned palette compliments the warmth of the gold, for an elegant yet cozy feel. Complete this table styling with subtle gold accents like these vintage gold taper candle holders, or these brushed-gold napkin rings.
Table Meadow arrangements are ideal for those looking to make a statement with decor, without overwhelming the table. They are a stylish, yet refined option for a variety of hosting settings!
Like the Footed Vase style, Table Meadows are available in two sizes. The "Like" size meadow measures roughly 36" long, making it suitable for 6-foot long tables. The "Love" size meadow measures roughly 48" long, so this size is best suited for 8-foot long tables.
